Ditching the older RFi system of separate metal rods and color-coded speedrings, this next-generation modifier features an all-in-one integrated mount. It pops open and locks into place just like an umbrella in seconds. Combined with a highly reflective silver interior, it delivers a punchy, high-contrast light that creates razor-sharp rim lights, dramatic hair lights, and perfectly crisp reflections.

If you are building a lighting kit, it is important to distinguish this new model (simply named "Profoto Softbox Strip") from both the older "RFi" line and the battery-optimized "OCF" line.

Unlike the classic RFi versions, you do not need to buy a separate speedring or assemble rods by hand for this model. Unlike the OCF 1x4' Stripbox (which is built of lighter materials strictly for battery flashes with LED modeling lamps), this standard Softbox Strip features heavy-duty, heat-resistant fabrics that can safely handle the intense heat of 500W halogen modeling lamps found in traditional AC-powered studio strobes like the D2.

Additionally, to use this modifier with Profoto's smaller battery-powered A-series flashes (like the A10 or A2), you will need the separately available Profoto OCF Adapter.
