You cannot use this adapter to mount a softbox onto a Profoto strobe (like a D2 or B1X), a Bowens mount, or an Elinchrom head.

Additionally, this adapter is designed for the RFi line of softboxes (which use separate metal rods). It is not compatible with Profoto's newer "OCF" softboxes or the newest generation of folding "Profoto Softboxes," which feature integrated, non-removable speed rings.
