Because this modifier features the new integrated speed ring design, it seamlessly mounts onto traditional Profoto 100mm flash heads right out of the box (including the D1, D2, B1X, B10, and ProHeads). If you intend to use this softbox with Profoto's smaller battery-powered A-series speedlights (like the A10 or A2), you will need to purchase the separately available Profoto OCF Adapter II.

Additionally, because the white interior absorbs slightly more light than a silver interior, you will notice a small drop in overall flash output. If you are shooting at long distances or trying to violently overpower the midday sun, a silver interior version might be more efficient for your specific needs.
