Nikon Z5 II Mirrorless Camera with 24-200mm f/4-6.3 Lens

Nikon Z5 II Mirrorless Camera with 24-200mm f/4-6.3 Lens

Nikon Z5II Mirrorless Digital Camera with 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR Lens Kit

The Ultimate Full-Frame Travel & Hybrid Kit

Building upon the success of its predecessor, the Nikon Z5II completely redefines what creators should expect from an "entry-level" full-frame mirrorless camera. By incorporating a new 24.5-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor and the blazing-fast EXPEED 7 processing engine (borrowed from Nikon's higher-end models like the Z8 and Z9), the Z5II delivers a massive leap in low-light performance, autofocus intelligence, and overall speed.

When paired with the incredibly versatile NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR lens, you get the ultimate "do-it-all" travel and everyday shooting kit. Covering everything from wide-angle landscapes to tight telephoto portraits and wildlife, this combination offers tremendous reach in a surprisingly compact package. It boasts advanced deep-learning autofocus, robust in-body image stabilization, and class-leading electronic viewfinder brightness, making it a joy to use in any lighting condition.

Why You'll Love This Kit

  • The Perfect All-In-One Lens: The included NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR is a phenomenal travel companion. It eliminates the need to constantly swap lenses, allowing you to capture sweeping vistas at 24mm and seamlessly zoom in to 200mm to isolate distant subjects. It also features built-in Vibration Reduction (VR) for steady handheld shooting.

  • 24.5MP BSI-CMOS Sensor: The move to a backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor is a major upgrade. It gathers significantly more light than the original Z5, providing cleaner images at high ISOs (up to ISO 64,000) and vastly improved dynamic range for recovering shadows in post-production.

  • EXPEED 7 & Deep-Learning AF: Powered by Nikon's latest processor, the autofocus system is transformed. It automatically detects and tenaciously tracks nine different types of subjects, including people (faces/eyes), birds, dogs, cats, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trains, and airplanes.

  • 7.5-Stop Image Stabilization: The camera's 5-axis In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) works in tandem with the lens's VR to provide up to an incredible 7.5 stops of shake correction. This allows you to shoot handheld at surprisingly slow shutter speeds in low light without introducing blur.

  • Blistering Speed: When the action peaks, the EXPEED 7 processor allows for high-speed continuous shooting at up to 14 frames per second with the mechanical shutter, or a staggering 30 frames per second using the silent electronic shutter (JPEG only).

  • Uncropped 4K Video: For videographers, the Z5II can record crisp 4K UHD video at 30p utilizing the full width of the sensor (no crop). It also supports advanced video features like 12-bit N-RAW and 10-bit H.265 recording internally for maximum color grading flexibility.

Things to Note

While the included 24-200mm lens is incredibly versatile for travel, it features a variable and relatively slow maximum aperture (f/4 at the wide end, dropping to f/6.3 at the telephoto end). This means it won't let in as much light as a fast f/2.8 zoom, nor will it produce the extreme, creamy background blur (bokeh) of a fast prime lens. In very dark indoor environments, you will need to rely heavily on the camera's high ISO capabilities and image stabilization.

Additionally, for video shooters, shooting 4K video at 60 frames per second applies a 1.5x (DX) crop to the sensor. This means your 24mm wide end will appear significantly more "zoomed in" (closer to 36mm) when shooting slow-motion 4K. If you need uncropped 4K/60p, you will need to step up to a more video-centric model like the Z6III.
